Beaches

Very close to Vathi, only 3,5km away, you can find the Filiatro beach with its clear deep blue waters, the shallow sea caves and the lush vegetation. Swimming here you can come across isolated and quiet small bays.

The beaches of Skinos and Mnimata are to be found on the east side. Euphcalyptus surround Mnimata while pine trees reflect themselves on the Skinos waters composing natural shading.

On the north side of the island there is the Afales bay, rocky landscape of wild beauty. Platia Ammos is the beach which stands out and is easily accessible to the sapphire waters.

It is another close to Vathi beach at 1km where you can enjoy the olive oils shades. Before you there is the isle of Skartsoumponisi which challenges swimmers.

Descending the village of Lefki, you find yourself on a paved path leading to the beach with the white pebbles and deep waters.

On your way to the northern side of the island you can see Aetos beach. The access is easy and the long beach with the clear waters are memorable.
